Statistical Consultation
I have provided statistical consultation for graduate students for over
10 years. Many students become paralyzed during their dissertation process
when it comes to writing and completing their Methods, Results, and Discussion
sections. I have helped students move beyond this paralysis and complete their
dissertations. My experience with statistics includes teaching Psychology
graduate students to use SPSS. I have also taught an introductory statistics
course at the University of California, Berkeley designed to help incoming
students from a variety of disciplines to learn and understand statistical
techniques.
Fees
$100 to $140/hour based upon income and financial need.
Students are oftentimes struggling to complete their degree while living
on loans and stipends. I take this into consideration when negotiating the fee.
Some dissertations I have worked on:
Dr. Eric Nicely - Internalized Homophobia, Stages of Processes of Change and
Alcohol Use Among Gay Men
Dr. Susan Johnson - Attachment & Object Relations Among Bulimic College Women
Dr. Jim Sparks - Role Incongruence and Marital Adjustment in the Transition to
Parenthood
Dr. Jill Rodgers-Quaye - The Effects of Serotonergic Intervention on
Personality and Mood as Measured by the Rorschach
Dr. Brad Sickenius - Personality Factors Associated with the Maintenance of
Safer Sexual Behavior
Dr. Leslie Silver - Rigidity of Thought, Intolerance of Ambiguity, and
Trait Anxiety: A Correlational Study of Difference Religious Groups
Dr. Debra Brown - Adolescent Externalizing Behavior Problems and Family
Interaction
Dara Querimit - Racial Identity and Womanist Identity: Correlates of Body
Image and Eating Concerns Among College Women of Color
